Terms of Service

By registering for or accessing DAP Masters ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

DAP Masters is a membership-based medical English speaking program designed for Chinese-speaking healthcare professionals. Sessions are conducted online and follow a structured format inspired by professional speaking organizations. The Platform facilitates session scheduling, role assignments, resources, and member progress tracking.

• Membership is open to healthcare professionals and students in medical fields.
• Guest access is limited. Full participation requires a paid membership plan.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Account sharing or transferring your account to another individual is strictly prohibited.
• Membership fees are non-refundable. We do not offer cancellations, mid-cycle refunds, or plan downgrades once a billing period has commenced.
• DAP Masters reserves the right to adjust membership pricing at any time. Where feasible, we will provide reasonable advance notice of fee changes via email or in-Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform following a price change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

Members agree to:

• Participate respectfully and professionally in all sessions and communications.
• Use the Platform solely for its intended educational and professional development purposes.
• Not share login credentials, session recordings, or member information with non-members.
• Not use the Platform to promote products, services, or unrelated content without prior written consent.
• Conduct themselves respectfully toward fellow members in all DAP-related communications and interactions, including messaging platforms, social media, and community group chats. Harassment, public disparagement of other members, or conduct that brings DAP Masters into disrepute — whether on or off the Platform — may result in suspension, account termination, or permanent expulsion from DAP Masters, including removal from all associated activities, group communications, and future events.

• Members who sign up for a role are expected to fulfill that role. If you are unable to attend, you must release or reassign your role and notify an administrator at least 48 hours in advance.
• A no-show is defined as failing to attend a session you RSVPed to, regardless of whether you held a role. Arriving and not fulfilling an assigned role without prior notice is also considered a no-show.
• Three or more no-shows within any rolling 60-day period may result in temporary suspension of RSVP and role sign-up privileges. Continued violations may lead to account suspension or termination at DAP Masters' discretion.
• Session recordings, if made, are for internal educational use only and may not be distributed externally.

All Platform content — including session materials, resources, curriculum, and design — is owned by DAP Masters and protected by applicable copyright laws. Members may use resources solely for personal professional development.

DAP Masters reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in disruptive behaviour, or misuse Platform resources. Termination does not entitle a member to a refund of any paid fees.

The Platform is provided "as is." DAP Masters makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or fitness for a particular purpose. The content on this Platform is for educational purposes and does not constitute medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DAP Masters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification.

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which DAP Masters operates. In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration under mutually agreed rules, or resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause prevents DAP Masters from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for violations of intellectual property or confidentiality obligations.
